We are seeking a Physician Assistant for
a hospitalist position in Virginia. Will consider an experienced provider
or new graduate. Other providers on site. Schedule will be 7 days (1
week on, 1 week off), 8:30a – 5:00p. No call. Anticipated patient volume
will be 25-30 ppd. Compensation will be $78-96k with a comprehensive
benefit package including 5 wks vacation, malpractice, health insurance,
retirement and 1 wk paid CME. Relocation allowance and separate sign-on

Physician Assistant Program
Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) has a full-time faculty position
open in the Physician Assistant Program. This program is 27 months
in length and enrolls 50 students per year. The ideal candidate has
a demonstrated track record in Physician Assistant education, clinical
practice, research and related scholarly activities, and a commitment to

Faculty Position: Physician Assistant Program

Primary Care Physician Assistant Program

We are looking for a PA with teaching experience and who is experienced
enough to teach at least two of the following topics:
Geriatrics, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine,
or Research.
The successful candidate will be a Core Faculty member. Core Faculty
are charged with insuring that all student and course related
activities are delivered in a means that is consistent with Program
and University policies. Core faculty responsibilities.
Qualifications include: Masters degree (doctorate preferred), graduate
of an accredited PA program, NCCPA certified and licensed to practice
in the state of California, valid DEA certificate, three years of
clinical, and two years of teaching in a PA program.
This position requires the individual to be active clinically (up to
20% time) precepting students. Academic appointment is a non-tenure
position in the Keck School of Medicine. Compensation is competitive
with excellent University benefits.

two Physician Assistants. This position is a combination of
hospital, surgical, and clinic hours. In collaboration with the physicians,
the Physician Assistant is responsible for providing varied medical services,
including: obtaining complete medical history and performing a physical
examination; ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies;
formulating a diagnosis and treatment plan; prescribing and/or dispensing
medication; assisting in surgery; counseling patients and families.
ER call is available but not mandatory and is compensated over base salary.
Position Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree and Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant

a plus
